Goals and pillars
In every area of its operations, Holland Destination Management works with suppliers who take responsibility for and contribute to protecting the environment and society in general. Our goal is to ensure that within five years 50% of our suppliers are wholly sustainable. In concrete terms, our vision means the following for your trip or event:
Transport:
We organize our travel programs as efficiently as possible and endeavor to work with transport companies that are committed to reducing their CO2 emissions.
Hotels:
We work exclusively with accommodation providers that have been awarded a Green Key certificate.
Restaurants and catering:
We work with restaurants that are committed to tackling food waste and that source their produce from organic suppliers.
Activities:
We focus on trips and tours that show respect for nature and offer a combination of educational and sustainable activities.
Event locations:
We have a preference for locations that recycle raw materials, use district heating, retain and re-use rainwater and work with solar energy.
